This waterproof LED equipped light is designed for routing traffic in industrial refueling stations and process status indication in manufacturing facilities. The WAL-TL-3X12W-C-SOL-100C is equipped with a waterproof solar panel, four 8aH batteries and 100 feet of 12/2 SOOW cable between the panel and the light fixture. The WAL-TL-3X12W-C-SOL-100C solar powered LED traffic light is an ideal indicator lighting solution for industrial, marine, and manufacturing facilities that are located in locations where traditional power sources are scarce or unavailable. The light housings are fully sealed within a waterproof aluminum chassis that features a very small profile for easy and unobtrusive mounting in tight and space limited areas.The mounting plate is also made from aluminum and can be custom built to customer specifications. This multi-colored indicator light provides red, amber, and green light outputs and has a 50,000 hour operational life. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. These LED lights are fully sealed, weatherproof, and constructed of aluminum with stainless steel hardware for durability and corrosion resistance. The LEDs are housed within a hard anodized and powder coated aluminum chassis that provides excellent strength and durability. Power is provided by individual conductors to allow independent operation of each lamp, making this unit ideal for fuel depots and manufacturing facilities where status indicators are necessary. This signal light fixture is configured for red, yellow, and green output (one lamp each color). The WAL-TL series of lights offers exceptional lumen output, a 50,000+ hour life span, IP68 waterproof tested to 60 meters. The LED lamps in this traffic light are 12 watts each and offer cool operation and clean, bright output that surpasses that of 100 watt incandescent indicator lamps. Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with four predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. Solar Panel: The solar panel is weatherproof and designed to catch the maximum amount of sunlight possible when properly mounted. This solar panel is configured to operate non-stop 24/7, day/night with photocell, motion sensor for security purposes, on/off switch for manual operation, or flying leads for operators to connect to user provided external switches. The day/night and motion sensor is programmed to active the solar panel in the evening and to shut it off during the day, activating the LED light when ambient lighting falls below 1 lux. The motion sensor will activate the panel upon detecting movement within range of the panel. Batteries/Wiring: The WAL-TL-3X12W-C-SOL-100C features four 8ah batteries for a 32aH battery bank with 16aH usable. The sealed lead acid battery pack is contained within the solar panel, not the connected equipment. The mounting apparatus is designed to allow a variety of mounting options including flat surfaces such as a wall and square or round pole mounting. The equipment is connected to the panel by a 100 foot 12/2 SOOW cord that provides flexibility for positioning of the solar panel and equipment into their respective optimum locations independently of each other. The WAL-TL-3X12W-C-SOL-100C also features weatherproof disconnects at both the panel and the fixture. |
