The WAL-WBC-2X500LTL-LED-100 Cart Mounted LED Work Area Light from Larson Electronics produces 60,000 lumens of light capable of illuminating an area 70,000 square feet in size. This wheel barrow style LED light cart is designed for portability and durable operation and ideal for use in demanding conditions.
The WAL-WBC-2X500LTL-LED-100 is a cart mounted work area LED light and provides 70,000 square feet of work area coverage with 60,000 lumens of light output. Two light heads housing forty-eight CREE® high output LEDs per light assembly, producing 1,250 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The LED light head on this unit produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating large workspaces and job sites.
This portable LED light cart has two swiveling LED light heads mounted on top of a wheel barrow style cart with wheels for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. This portable light cart allows the operator to pick up the unit and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed. The LED light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light mounting bracket off of the center support, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted vertically, swiveled horizontally, and locked into position.
Included with this LED light cart is 100 feet of SOOW cord which combined with adjustability offered by the LED light heads provides ample length for cart placement and optimal coverage of the workspace. This portable lighting system is an ideal replacements for fragile and hot running dual 1000 watt metal halide work lamps. They offer low power requirements, high durability and a versatile mounting system that makes these LED light emitters a superior lighting solution for demanding applications where power and reliability is critical. This portable wheeled light cart is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations where durability and reliability is critical.
Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours.
Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the WAL-WBC-2X500LTL-LED-100 LED light cart from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,0000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered.
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
The LED light head can be removed from the cart, the entire assembly passed through a manhole or entry way, and reassembled once inside. This LED lighting system is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LEDs and electronics. This LED light produces 60,000 lumens with a color temperature of 5600K and a color rendering index of 75 which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries.
Voltage: The drivers in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These light towers can operate on current ranging from 90 to 305V AC or 127 to 431V DC without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it.
