Made in Texas The WCDE-4KW-LM24.5S-4X500LTL-2.N10-DNS-M1 mobile light tower from Larson Electronics is a towable lighting package powered by a 4kW generator. Equipped with four IP67 rated LED lights, the telescoping light tower extends to a maximum height of 24 feet and can be collapsed to 8 feet. All system components are secured to a heavy-duty trailer. This TAA compliant product is made in the USA. The WCDE-4KW-LM24.5S-4X500LTL-2.N10-DNS-M1 mobile light tower is a reliable solution for deploying LED lights in outdoor, remote locations. This unit is supported by a 4,000 watt generator, which supplies the current to four LED lights secured at the top of the tower. The LED lights offer programmable operation via dusk-to-dawn settings, which enables automatic activation and deactivation. The light mast system can provide hours of continuous operation, at extended heights between 8 and 24 feet. An included 4kW generator equipped with an air-cooled motor provides power for equipment. The diesel engine is a Yanmar unit with a single cylinder. This engine features direct injection and an electric/manual recoil starter. A 60 gallon fuel tank allows the engine to operate continuously for extended periods of time without refueling. The 4,000 watt generator is a brushless design and produces 120/240V volt current. Equipped with a volt meter, there are three circuit-breaker protected receptacles on the unit: (2) 20-amp [120V] and (1) 30-amp L14-30 NEMA [120/240V]. Telescoping Boom: The telescoping five stage steel light mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy four LED lights in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 24 feet for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 24` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. This allows operators to collapse the mast and leave it in the upright position during transit if desired. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 5.92` in length and 6" by 6" by 3/16" thick, lower section 6.04` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 6.19` in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, upper section 6.34` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an top section 6.5` in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1` overlap. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 2,500 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the LED lights. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 9`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in any direction and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. LED Lights: This system is equipped with four GAU-LTL-500W-LED lights mounted at the top of the light mast for elevated illumination. Each LED light produces 64,800 lumens of high intensity light. Forty-eight CREE® high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-500W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered. Housing: All of the operating components are housed within a protective compartment constructed of 14 gauge steel and designed to provide airflow for cooling. Side wing doors provide access to the interior, while latches provide secure closing when the unit is in use. The design and construction of this enclosure helps this unit operate at a low noise level. The entire unit can be loaded and unloaded onto trucks via forklift sleeves mounted to the top section of the light mast. Trailer: The system is mounted onto a two-wheel trailer with a 2,200 lbs leaf spring axle. A standard two inch ball coupling and two standard safety chains allow for easy hookup and towing. Included stabilizing outriggers are a four-point design with one located under the trailer tongue, two on the sides and one on the back of the unit. The two side outriggers are adjustable and include 2,000 lbs swivel jacks for leveling and stabilizing the tower. Applications: This portable light tower is suitable for use in remote locations, such as temporary camps, construction sites, military bases and areas without reliable access to the grid. It can be utilized to power a wide range of tools and equipment.  |
