| The WDL-LPK-24-28W-LED-SFC-WHT from Larson Electronics is an Industrial Linear LED Fixture with Type 4X and IP66 rated protection for use in rugged sites, wash down areas and wet locations. This powerful 2-foot long LED light produces 3,700 lumens, operates on 120-277V AC 50/60Hz, and is suitable for a variety of applications. Two, 6.5" offset mounting brackets are included for ceiling/wall mount installations. The WDL-LPK-24-28W-LED-SFC-WHT provides high output and serves as a ruggedly durable lighting solution for applications in industrial facilities. This 28-watt low profile LED light operates on 120-277V AC, 50/60Hz power and is a suitable replacement for fluorescent T12, T8 and T5HO lighting. During use, the LED fixture offers 3,700 lumens of output with a 5000K color temperature rating. A 120° flood beam configuration promotes wide light distribution in the area. The LED light offers 0.99 power factor @ 120V (0.92 power factor @ 277V) and <15% total harmonic distortion. Surge protection includes 4kV line to line and 6kV line to earth. These units are protected by a copper-free aluminum housing with an epoxy finish (white) and a clear polycarbonate lens. The system is a single assembly with a housing that is secured by screws/rivets. When lifting the LED light from one corner, the housing will not permanently distort. Capable of withstanding vibration/impacts and high pressure hose environments at 2,000 psi, the LED fixture carries Type 4X and IP66 ratings. This unit is approved for wet locations, including wash down areas. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Hubs: The WDL-LPK-24-28W-LED-SFC-WHT contains 3/4" hubs for wiring connections. Internal provisions for grounding are available inside the unit. Mounting: Two included offset mounting brackets can be used for surface mounting on ceilings or walls. Each bracket measures 6.5" in height and has one opening for installation. |
