| The Larson Electronics XLE-PA-N4X-1686-3PH-60A-600V-3P4W-RA-CR-S39 is a Reverse Service Industrial Pin and Sleeve Receptacle for rugged work sites. The NEMA 4X unit is rated at 600V AC / 250 V DC @ 50-400 Hz and 60 amps. Designed for rugged facilities, the 3-pole, 4-wire unit is protected by a copper-free aluminum housing. The XLE-PA-N4X-1686-3PH-60A-600V-3P4W-RA-CR-S39 is also equipped with a threaded clamping ring to secure it to a receptacle once it is connected. This reverse service receptacle is equipped with a male plug interior. It is available in either a 1-1/4" hub size or 1-1/2" hub size. The XLE-PA-N4X-1686-3PH-60A-600V-3P4W-RA-CR-S39 is an industrial grade receptacle that carries a NEMA 4X rating. This pin/sleeve unit is rated at single-phase 600 V AC / 250 V DC @ 50-400 Hz and 60 amps. The 3-pole, 4-wire receptacle is constructed of copper-free aluminum, brass, beryllium copper and 316 stainless steel with a baked powder epoxy/polyester finish. This power accessory features style II grounding and a cable diameter range of 0.500" to 1.250". In Reverse Service configurations, receptacles and connectors are assembled with plug interiors and the plugs are assembled with receptacle interiors. Reverse service is designed for applications where the receptacle is energized, such as from a generator, to feed a non energized receptacle. This prevents energized pins from being exposed. Note on Poles/Wires: The XLE-PA-N4X-1686-3PH-60A-600V-3P4W-RA-CR-S39 is a 3-pole, 4-wire unit. Some OEMs print this information backwards and would list it as a 4-pole, 3-wire. This unit is the same thing. These OEMs list the "pole" as physical poles and the "wire" as hot wires. However, at Larson Electronics, we follow NEMA and IEC standards where "pole" is hot and "wire" is the total wires going to the unit. Interchangeability: The receptacle is fully interchangeable with configured and certified to UL1686 devices, such as Crouse-Hinds® Arktite® or Appleton® Powertite®. Standard location receptacle bolt hole patterns match competitive back boxes so users can perform upgrades without changing back boxes in instances where changing the conduit system is difficult. Standard/Polarized Configurations: Larson Electronics offers Standard and Polarized configurations for all XLE-PA-N4X-1686 wiring devices. In Standard configurations, receptacles and connectors are assembled with receptacle interiors and the receptacles are assembled with receptacle interiors. Polarized configuration rotates the interior of receptacles and connectors 22.5° to the right. receptacle interiors are rotated 22.5° opposite to match receptacles and connectors. Polarized configuration prevents accidental connector between mismatched voltage or mismatched frequencies in locations where the devices of the same amperage, poles, and grounding configuration exist. For Standard configuration, remove -S39 from sku. For Polarized configuration, add -S37 to sku. |
