Acro 990X has 35 Watt Xenon 4300 Kelvin bulb High Intensity Discharge (HID) bulb, 3200 lumens - produces 2700 lux at 25 feet (4 D-cell Maglite produces 280 lux at 25 feet) and reaches 4000 feet. The 990X features several important benefits, including a 4000 foot beam, articulating head, focusable beam and interchangeable batteries.  This HID flashlight can also operate directly off of a 12 Volt or 24 Volt vehicle system via optional vehicle adapter. The batteries snap in and out of the base easily. One battery can be charging while the other is in use. A separate accessory, the vehicle adapter snaps into the battery socket, enabling users to run the light off of a 12 volt or 24 volt vehicle's power system indefinitely.
