| The ATEX-HALP-24-ITG Explosion Proof LED Fixture from Larson Electronics is a robust light designed for illumination in hazardous locations under ATEX/IECEx Zone 2, 21 and 22. This 52-watt unit is compatible with 220-240V AC or 220-250V DC and emits 5,375 lumens of flood light. Constructed of non-sparking materials, the LED fixture can be mounted on ceilings and walls using a pair of stainless steel mounting brackets. The ATEX-HALP-24-ITG is a heavy-duty LED light for harsh and hazardous locations. Operating on 220-240V AC or 220-250V DC, the unit emits 5,375 lumens of white light in a flood beam configuration. This 52-watt LED light provides up to 103 lumens-per-watt with a color temperature rating of 5,000K and a CRI rating of 80. The fixture supports a central-locking design using a socket key M8/wrench size 13. The explosion proof LED lamp is constructed of non-sparking materials to reduce the risk of ignition. Consisting of glass fiber-reinforced polyester resin, this unit offers IP67 waterproof protection. Sealing components are made out of silicone foam gaskets, while the cover is constructed of polycarbonate. Featuring an IK10 impact strength rating, the luminary is designed for rugged handling and environments. The LED fixture is suitable for ATEX/IECEx Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22 industrial facilities. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Solid state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Wiring/Mount: The ATEX-HALP-24-ITG comes with flying leads (ingoing and outgoing) and two 1" hubs for completing electrical connections. This unit comes with a pair of ceiling and wall mounting brackets, which when installed, allows the lamp to swivel in increments of 15 degrees. The stainless steel component can be secured on a mounting rail for versatile positioning.
