This Class I Division 2 rated cable gland is constructed of nylon and caters to standard 1" NPT hubs for connection. The CGB-NY-STR-1-PRPL is suitable for use in hazardous location applications when installed according to NEC articles. The CGB-NY-STR-1-PRPL is a heavy duty cable gland for hazardous and corrosive environments. This unit features a standard entry thread of 1" NPT and a minimum/maximum cable diameter of 0.620-0.125" NPT. The Class I Zone 2 cable gland is constructed of durable nylon. The accessory is waterproof (IP66-IP68). This hazardous location cable gland is designed for use in environments ranging between -60°C to +100°C. Applications: Corrosive environments, food processing facilities, chemical and sewage treatment plants, and off-shore and dockside installations |
