| The Larson Electronics EPCS-2XPL-1X3PS-2X2PS Explosion Proof Control Station is suitable for busy operations in hazardous locations. Featuring five drilled and tapped operator holes, the unit supports several control mechanisms for heavy-duty machines. Two LED pilot lights and three switches can be found on this station. Constructed of aluminum with stainless steel components, the unit is surface mount compatible. The EPCS-2XPL-1X3PS-2X2PS is a durable explosion proof control station designed for hazardous locations. Featuring a maximum voltage rating of 600V AC, this unit supports a total of five drilled and tapped operator holes at the cover. There are two LED pilot lights on the system (one red/left, one green/right). Operators may access the following switches on the unit: (1) 3-position/left, (1) 2-position/center and (1) 2-position/right. The 3-position switch is rated at 10 amps and has N/O and N/C contacts. The 2-position switches are rated at 10 amps. The center 2-position switch is equipped with N/C contacts and the right 2-position switch contains N/O contacts. The EPCS-2XPL-1X3PS-2X2PS is constructed of aluminum with stainless steel parts. Operator name plates are displayed for accurate and proper use of the unit. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Solid state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Hubs: A 3/4" NPT hub is available on the system for completing wiring connections. Mount: The explosion proof control station is compatible with surface mount configurations. |
