Featuring a starter coil voltage of 110/120V, 50/60 Hz and a motor voltage of 480V, the unit provides a maximum of 25 HP during operation. The forward, non-reversing magnetic line starter is constructed of copper-free aluminum and comes with a NEMA size 2 rating, as well as two push buttons for stop/start functions. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPCS-MTS-MLS-3P-25HP-480V-2XPB.SG is an explosion proof combination magnetic line starter for flammable facilities. This unit features a starter coil voltage of 110/120V, 50/60 Hz and a motor voltage of 480V. The 25 HP device offers a full-load amps range of 4A-20A. The 100VA control transformer contains fused primary/secondary circuits, providing operators with 240/480V primary and 120V secondary. For circuit protection, the unit features a 50-amp circuit breaker and thermal magnetic disconnect method. This forward, non-reversing magnetic line starter contains an adjustable, solid state overload. Heaters are not needed for the starter. Operators: The EPCS-MTS-MLS-3P-25HP-480V-2XPB.SG contains a red pilot light and an accessible reset push button for resetting the unit, which is made out of thermoplastic polyester and is molded onto the stainless steel shaft. Stop and start functions are facilitated by two push buttons. A manual disconnect handle is used to reset or disconnect the breaker. The circuit breaker handle is lockable for security (in ON or OFF position). Provisions are provided for drain and breather components. Equipped with an aluminum shroud, conduit openings are also available for power and control. This combination magnetic line starter is constructed of copper-free aluminum, with 316 stainless steel cover bolts and BUNA-N nitrile O-ring gasket. The unit is suitable for Class I, Divisions 1 and 2; Class I, Zone 1 and 2; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2; and Class III hazardous locations. A NEMA 4/4X rating ensures protection from exposure to direct water spray and corrosive elements. Mounting: The EPCS-MTS-MLS-3P-25HP-480V-2XPB.SG is designed for surface mounting configurations, via four mounting lugs located at each corner of the unit. A universal mounting pan and pre-drilled holes help streamline installations at the work site. The following hubs are available for completing wiring connections and installations: (1) 1.5" NPT (power), (1) 0.75" NPT (control) and (1) 0.5" (drain breather).
