| The Larson Electronics EPF-AFM-SW1 Explosion Proof Air Flow Switch for Medium Velocity facilitates active monitoring of air flow velocity in combustible locations. This unit is equipped with a magnetic, single pole double throw snap switch and has a 1/2" NPT conduit connection. Recommended for use with fan systems, the NEMA rated device is compatible with duct mounting applications. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPF-AFM-SW1 is designed for use in Class I and II environments. Suitable for applications with medium velocity requirements, this unit operates on 120/240V AC and is equipped with a magnetic, single pole double throw snap switch. The explosion proof device offers 300 fpm to 1,900 fpm flow operation (100 fpm to 500 fpm - no flow operation) when mounted at the top of ducts in a horizontal position and 350 fpm to 1,950 fpm flow operation (100 fpm to 900 fpm - no flow operation) when mounted at the side of ducts in a horizontal position. An accessible sensitivity adjusting screw enables quick flow adjustment. This airflow switch has a 49°C maximum ambient temperature rating and a 135°C maximum duct temperature rating. The unit is made out of brass, steel and aluminum. Hubs: Operators may access a 1/2" NPT hub on the explosion proof device. Mounting: The EPF-AFM-SW1 is compatible with duct mounting installations (8" minimum duct size). This unit can be installed horizontally or vertically. |
