This explosion proof accessory is made out of copper-free aluminum. Operators can choose from the following hub size options: 1/2" or 3/4" NPT. The EPJ-ATEX-4 is a sturdy instrument enclosure with explosion proof features. This unit features a 3.5" x 3" body opening. A cover o-ring provides protection against foreign contaminants in the environment. Operators may use this explosion proof enclosure to house a wide range of devices, such as transmitters, sensors, detectors and relays. This ATEX/IECEX rated explosion proof accessory is constructed of copper-free aluminum and finished with an electrostatically-applied powder coating. The IP66-rated unit features a NEMA 4X housing and is suitable for Class I, Division 1 & 2; Class I, Zone 1 & 2; Class II, Division 1 & 2; and Class III flammable work sites. The compact unit is designed to operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +163°C. Mounting/Wiring: The EPJ-ATEX-4 is compatible with surface or conduit mount configurations. Hub size options include 1/2" or 3/4" NPT. Applications: Petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paint spray booths, food manufacturing buildings, agricultural operations, grain storage centers, harsh environments, rugged work sites, marine locations, wet locations and more. |
