Made in the USA The EPL-220X12-100 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Drop Light / Hand Lamp that is available in three different wattages including 60W, 75W or 100W. The 100W version is approved for Class I Division 1 Groups C & D while the 60W and 75W versions are approved for Class II Division 1 Groups F & G hazardous areas. This explosion proof work light from Larson Electronics comes complete with 100 feet of 16/3 explosion proof cord leading to an inline transformer that steps down 220V AC at 50 Hz to 12 Volts for powering the lamp, an additional 10 feet of cord leading to the wall plug, for a total of 110 feet of cable. The EPL-220X12-100 drop light housing is designed to provide an effective low voltage lighting solution for operators requiring a versatile source of illumination. This hazardous location hand lamp is Class I Division 1 approved when equipped with a 100 watt bulb and Class II Division 1 approved when equipped with a 60 watt or 75 watt bulb. Make bulb selection when ordering below. This explosion proof drop light is ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired.

This 75 or 100 watt drop light is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors (100 watt) and various dusts (60 watt or 75 watt) are present. This unit is rated Class I Division 1 Groups C & D with a 100 watt bulb and Class 2 Division 1 Groups F & G with a 60 watt or 75 watt bulb. Choose bulb wattage below when ordering. This explosion proof drop light operates on 220 Volts AC at 50 Hz and steps this voltage down to 12 Volts via an included inline transformer. This transformer plugs into standard wall outlets and is encapsulated in a waterproof enclosure. The bulb in this drop light is operates on 12 Volts and designed specifically for low voltage operation.

Plug options include standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-20 20 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps.
