Made in the USA The EPL-ACH-HPS150W 150 Watt High Pressure Sodium Explosion Proof Light is UL Listed Class I & II, Division 1 and is designed to withstand the abuse of the most demanding environments including saltwater marine locations. This explosion proof high pressure sodium light is ideal for use in areas where a light is needed that can penetrate smoke, fog and other obscurants. This unit contains a 150 watt high pressure sodium lamp and can be mounted to walls, posts, brackets and other suitable surfaces or objects via the included U type mounting yolk. A side mounted adjustment knob allows users to position and set the angle of the light and a single through hole in the mounting yolk allows permanent mounting. This lamp`s extreme durability, high power and ability to withstand the abuse of demanding environments makes it ideal for outdoor marine locations and areas where high reliability is critical. | ||||||

This lamp`s housing is waterproof and constructed of thick copper free aluminum alloy, making it ideal for use in wet and marine environments. The lamp assembly includes a 150 watt high pressure sodium bulb, internal ballast and aluminum finish reflector in a copper-free cast aluminum housing with a thermoset powder coat finish. The shell, covers and sealed fittings are also made of copper-free aluminum. The lens is constructed of 3/4" thermal shock and impact resistant tempered glass and the housing contains threaded joints lubricated with non-drying lubricant. The high pressure sodium lamp in this unit has no filament and is thus highly resistant to damage from shocks or impacts, unlike incandescent lamps which may break or shatter when dropped or hit. This lamp operates with 120 VAC and is supplied with a 3 foot, 16/3 SOOW cord with a sealed wire connection.
Suggested Applications: include but are not limited to wastewater treatment plants, refinery tanks, oil and gasoline loading docks, coal pulverizing facilities, munitions storage areas, tunnel projects, utility gas plants, power plant areas, hazardous areas and mining conveyor belts.
