This 400-watt fixture is compatible with 240V AC, 50 Hz and is protected by an aluminum wire guard. Constructed of die-cast aluminum alloy with a borosilicate glass lens, the IP66-rated unit is mounted to a powder coated blue, adjustable base stand. The EPL-AE.EX-24BS-AH2-400W-MH-25M-240V-M1 is a powerful lighting solution for combustible facilities, industrial sites and outdoor locations. This 400-watt unit consists of a metal halide lamp on a powder coated aluminum base stand. Equipped with an E40 lamp base, the fixture delivers 4100K daylight white illumination in a flood beam configuration and is protected by an aluminum wire guard. The ballast is located inside the impact and vibration resistant unit. This explosion proof light is constructed of die-cast aluminum alloy, with an epoxy resin powder finish for corrosion resistance, and stainless steel hardware. The lens consists of borosilicate glass and is equipped with an aluminum reflector. This IP66-rated unit comes with an approximate lifespan of 25,000+ hours and is suitable for ATEX/IECEx rated Zone 1/Zone 2 and Zone 21/Zone 22 flammable environments. Equipped with a T3 temperature rating, the outdoor fixture can be used in locations with ambient temperatures ranging between -20°C to +55°C. Wiring: The EPL-AE.EX-24BS-AH2-400W-MH-25M-240V-M1 features a 25M (82') 3-core 2.5mm2 (14 AWG) cable with a 16-amp 2-pole, 3-wire 220V explosion proof plug. Mounting: This metal halide explosion proof light is secure to a powder coated blue base stand fabricated from non sparking aluminum. The stand is adjustable from 1.5M (5') to 2M (6.5'). Transferring the unit through manholes consists of simply removing the light head from the base, passing the light head and base through the manhole separately, and then reassembling the unit once inside. The lamp can be easily adjusted up or down 90 degrees and locked into position by simply loosening a T-handle tension lock.
