| Made in the USA The EPL-AED-APD-4XWA.N-3GL from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Access Point Enclosure for protecting access point devices inside flammable work sites. The explosion proof box features four external antennas and cables, as well as a 3" viewing window at the front of the unit. Constructed of cast aluminum, operators are provided access to one, 1" NPT hub at the bottom of the explosion proof enclosure. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPL-AED-APD-4XWA.N-3GL is an explosion proof box for enclosing access points to be used in combustible environments. The unit comes with four, 2.4 Ghz/5GHz dual band antennas, which are suitable for Class I, Division 1 Groups C, D facilities, and four antenna to access point RF cables. A 3" window at the front of the enclosure is available for viewing the access point device inside the housing. Constructed of cast aluminum, hinged doors keep the openings secure during use. Mounting/Hubs: The EPL-AED-APD-4XWA.N-3GL features internal brackets for mounting the access point inside the enclosure. Operators can secure the unit inside the box using 1/2" bolts. Minimum internal clearance includes: 2" (Top), 4" (Bottom), 2.7" (Height), 0.25" (Back). For external mounting, the explosion proof enclosure is equipped with four surface-mount mounting lugs. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost. One 1" NPT hub located at the bottom of the enclosure is available for access point cables. |
