The quadpod mount and lamp used with this unit provides operators with excellent power and efficiency coupled with high versatility and ease of use. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS, LIGHT TOWERS, OR QUADPODS* This explosion proof LED light is mounted on our non-sparking collapsible quadpod, giving operators an easily deployable source of powerful light that can be quickly setup and adjusted to effectively illuminate hazardous work areas, then easily stowed and transported between uses. This unit uses a 70 watt CREE XLamp MC-E LED lamp that produces 6,020 lumen of light output. This lamp consists of seven 10 watt LED lamps. The CREE LED lamp produces more light than a typical 300 watt incandescent bulb while drawing only 70 watts at 5.84 amps. The LED lamp runs at a cool 55 degrees Fahrenheit compared to the 198 degree average of a 300 watt incandescent, resulting in an easier to handle unit and less heat in the workspace. This unit`s durability, easy deployment, high power and good color rendering make it ideal for first responders and emergency services.

The non sparking collapsible quadpod weighs only 15 pounds and can be extended to 12 feet and collapsed to 52 inches. Both the shaft and legs of the non-sparking quadpod are collapsible. The quadpod can be easily detached from the light aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The quadpod affords operators the ability to quickly and securely elevate this lamp, increasing its effective coverage of the work area. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position. The lamp housing is waterproof and constructed of thick copper free aluminum alloy, making it ideal for use in wet and marine environments. The CREE LED lamp provides a beam that is 750 feet long by 110 feet wide with 6,020 lumens of bright white light, producing good color rendering and object contrast. The LEDs in this unit are highly resistant to damage from shocks or impacts, greatly reducing the chances of damage should the tower be knocked over, unlike incandescent lamps which may break or shatter. The LED lamp is rated at 50,000 hours of life providing up to ten years of regular service. This lamp is available in 120 volt 50/60 hz, 220/240 volt 50/60 hz, and 12 volt DC or 24 volt DC versions. 12VDC or 24VDC versions have no transformer and run directly off of DC current.
