The Larson Electronics EPL-PM-2X400MH-200 Pedestal Mounted Hazardous Area Light includes two metal halide lamps capable of illuminating an area 50,000 square feet in size and is rated Class 1 Division 2 Groups C and D as well as wet area and marine environment suitable.
The EPL-PM-2X400MH-200 pedestal mounted hazardous area light provides operators in hazardous locations with a versatile lighting solution for operations where easily managed large scale illumination of the workspace is required. Two 400 watt metal halide lamps provide light coverage for 50,000 square feet of work area while a Class 1 Division 2 Groups C and D NTRL Listing assures reliable protection against inadvertent ignitions.Â

| This hazardous area light package is designed to provide operators i hazardous locations with an easily deployed and highly stable UL Listed lighting platform. Included with this unit are two 400 watt metal halide lamps and 200 feet of abrasive and oil resistant SOOW cord terminating in an ECP 1523 5-15P Class 1 Division 1 explosion proof straight blade plug. The two metal halide lamps are mounted to a metal pedestal platform with adjustable trunnion brackets that provide vertical adjustability. A single carrying handle is included to provide easy carrying and movement of the unit from one location to another. The lamp housings are weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws for easy servicing. The optical assemblies includes a precision-formed aluminum reflector and heat/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass. The aluminum reflector has a chemically bonded, lightweight, non-breakable ALGLAS® finish on both the inside and outside surfaces providing corrosion resistance, durability and ease of cleaning. The optical assembly contains a mogul base socket capable of handling the higher pulse ratings of newer HID systems. This lamp is suitable for use in areas where flammable petrochemical vapors are sometimes present. This light is highly durable, produces high light output in a wide flood pattern, and operates effectively at temperatures to -20 degrees F. This metal halide pedestal mounted light is rated for use in wet areas and marine environments and can be configured to operate with 120V, 208V, or 240V.
