The EPL-SL-4-50X-50LED-RT-MBC-EPP from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof LED String Light Set that is approved for use in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C and D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F, and G rated flammable work sites. Equipped with four 50-watt explosion proof LED lamps and 200` of 12/3 SOOW cable with an explosion proof cord cap, this daisy chain temporary lighting system provides 28,000 lumens of output and comes equipped with powerful magnetic mounting components per light head, allowing for flexibility within the job site. This explosion proof string light set from Larson Electronics contains a total of four 50-watt work lights equipped with heavy-duty magnets at the base and connected in series along 200` of 12/3 SOOW cable. The 50-watt LED lights are evenly spaced with 50` of spacing between each lamp and 50` of input whip. The input whip is terminated in a heavy-duty, explosion proof cord cap for connection to preferred power sources. Each explosion proof light fixture provides 7,000 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 50 watts, for a combined 28,000 lumens at 200 watts. Color temperature options include 5600 K, 4500 K or 3000 K. These lights are direct replacement for 150 watt metal halide temporary fixtures. The copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. Special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps these fixtures to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. Light weight and a low profile makes this unit an attractive alternative to larger and heavier traditional fixtures and requires less hardware to install. This unit incorporates four explosion proof 50 watt LED lamps connected in series and is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present. The cast aluminum housings, tempered glass lens, and abrasion resistant cord make this a very durable unit that will resist damage from chemicals, abrasion, vibrations and impacts. This string lighting solution will provide the lighting you require in a flexible, easy to manage configuration for job site illumination. The lamps can be moved around and mounted to different points within the work area. The lights, however must remain within 20 feet of one other. Each explosion proof LED light features multiple LED drivers which helps to increase the operational life of the fixture. With traditional LED lights, in the event an LED array or driver fails, the entire fixture no longer illuminates. This new series of LED lamps contains twelve individual LED boards configured in a series of banks. Each bank contains two LED boards with an individual driver. In the event of a driver failure, only one bank of LEDs will be effected while the other banks will continue to operate. In the event that of an LED failure, the mating LED will continue to operate.
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. This stringer light set is Class I, Division 1 & 2 rated for Groups C and D and Class II, Division 1 Groups E, F and G. This light is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 V AC, 50/60Hz. We also offer a low voltage version of this LED fixture that operates on AC/DC voltages from 11-25V. This explosion proof LED light fixture is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion. The cast aluminum body and LED lamp give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LEDs and electronics.

Wiring & Plug: This explosion proof LED light is equipped with 200 feet of 12/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an explosion proof cord cap for easy connection to explosion proof outlets. Plug options include a 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 220-240V explosion proof outlets. **PLEASE NOTE** voltage ratings on plugs and outlets are MAXIMUM voltage. For low voltage applications, proper voltage must be applied to the outlet or damage to the light fixture will occur. Mount: Each explosion proof LED light features an adjustable swivel bracket constructed of 3/8" aluminum. This aluminum mounting bracket has three 200 lb grip magnetic bases which provide a total of 600 lb of grip and allows operators to mount the unit to ceilings, walls and any flat metallic surfaces. Users simply attach the magnetic mounting bracket to the desired surface, then hang the lamp assembly from the bracket.
