The 40 watt EPLX-PM-40W-SQ2-LED-TRC-100 Explosion Proof LED Floodlight from Larson Electronics combines the best of versatile, functional design and rugged, durable construction. This portable LED floodlight uses state-of-the-art AC LEDs paired with specially designed heat sinks for improved efficiency, thermal management, and durability. Available in 5000K cool white and 3000K warm white options, a 100° flood beam provides crisp, bright illumination with broad coverage. The 7.99â€L x 3.84â€H light head is mounted to a lightweight A-frame style base with a convenient carrying handle built into the top of the stand. The non-sparking aluminum base is equipped with hand screws for easy repositioning of the light head, and a 100’ chemical and abrasion resistant cord provides operators with the ability to move about freely within the workspace. This IP68 rated heavy duty Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C, & D LED lamp is suitable for oil refineries, petrochemical plants, painting facilities, offshore rigs, marinas, docks, warehouses, garages, and commercial buildings.
Light Features: The 40 watt EPLX-PM-40W-SQ2-LED-TRC-100 A-frame mounted LED floodlight delivers brilliant illumination and robust performance in a space-saving, easily portable form. A 100 ° wide flood beam provides crisp, bright light with broad coverage. This pedestal mounted fixture features an adjustable light head that allows for a 90° range of vertical tilt. To adjust the light head, simply loosen the hand screws located on the outer sides of the pedestal frame, moving the light head to the desired position and then retightening them to secure the light head.
This explosion proof lamp utilizes AC LEDs paired with an advanced heat sink that allow for improved efficiency and thermal performance. By eliminating the drivers associated with DC LEDs, space is freed up for more connective surface, accelerating heat dissipation and increasing durability. The specially designed heat sink allows for greater surface area contact with the air as well as a stronger airflow rate. Because this fixture is created for maximum thermal efficiency, it is ideal for applications in which the ambient operating temperature falls into extreme ranges, especially high heat applications. Furthermore, fewer sub-components also mean fewer chances for secondary component failure. The simplified circuit system used within AC LEDs creates greater stability and enhances luminaire lifespan.
The EPLX-PM-40W-SQ2-LED-TRC-100 is designed to endure the daily wear and tear inflicted by harsh outdoor conditions such as sun, wind, rain, snow and sleet. Durable IP68 rated construction provides protection against the ingress of dust, dirt and humidity and allows this light to withstand the corrosive elements found within marine environments including saltwater spray. The copper free, non-sparking die-cast aluminum alloy housing and tempered glass lens are vibration and impact resistant. Additionally, the housing is treated with a coating that rejects dust and buildup for added convenience and durability.

And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
A-Frame Base: The compact, lightweight A-frame mounting base is constructed from industrial grade non-sparking aluminum and has been powder coated for added durability and corrosion resistance. The compact 8.38"W x 9.56"D x 17.25"H footprint saves valuable floor space while the built in carrying handle and attached 100’ cord offer unrestricted mobility. Convenient hand screws located on the outer sides of the base allow the operator to reposition the LED fixture where light is needed most.
