| The EPPH-B41 Explosion Proof Telephone from Larson Electronics is a superior communication device for hazardous locations and rugged work sites. This unit incorporates a traditional, pushbutton dialpad and comes with an external ringer. Operators can mount the telephone, using 3/8" mounting holes, on walls flat vertical surfaces. Phone Features: The EPPH-B41 is suitable for safe, reliable communication in both indoor and outdoor hazardous areas. This analog, line-powered unit features a pushbutton dialpad, which can be activated using gloved hands. Operators can connect up to 10 explosion proof phones to one line. The device offers tone or pulse tones, as well as standard re-dialing. This explosion proof telephone features a simplified, easy to use design. To call out, operators simply lift the handset and dial the desired number with no additional steps or phone training required. The main keypad features 15 buttons (0,1-9,*,#). Since this unit is line powered, the phone will continue working even if the main power source faults or is disconnected. The copper-free enclosure housing on this explosion proof unit provides protection from the ingress of dust, dirt and water. The handset is constructed of high impact plastic, with a pin-type handset cord connector for seamless compatibility. The explosion proof communication device provides operators with a safe, secure and dependable line-powered communication link that remains functional even in emergency situations. Ringer: The EPPH-B41 comes with a ringer for audio-based notifications. This external component is designed for low ambient noise locations and is constructed of copper-free aluminum. Operators can connect the unit to the explosion proof phone through a 3/4" hub. Maximum voltage for the ring detect relay is 90V AC. Power/Wiring: The explosion proof industrial grade telephone is fully powered using the existing telephone line. It does not require any additional electrical lines or power sources. Operators simply thread the existing telephone line into the explosion proof container and connect the wires in order to power the unit. Mounting: The EPPH-B41 telephone is designed to be wall mounted via 3/8" mounting holes at the back of the unit.
