The EXP-IP-POE-INJ-24V-24W from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof POE Injector that allows operators to add POE (Power over Ethernet) functionality to explosion proof cameras and sensors. POE functionality adds flexibility, safety, reliability and scalability to camera systems as well as saving both time and money. The EXP-IP-POE-INJ-24V-24W is a 24V POE Injector that is rated for devices that draw up to 1 amp. This POE injector features an explosion proof enclosure that is Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups A, B, C, D, Class I, Zones 1 & 2, Groups IIB+H2, IIA, Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F ,G and Class III Divisions 1 & 2 rated for hazardous areas and is listed for use worldwide including the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. The EXP-IP-POE-INJ-24V-24W reduces the amount of cables that must be run to cameras. It achieves this by running the power required by the device through the Ethernet cable instead of a separate power cable. This saves operators both time and money. Not only because of reduced cable costs, but also because network cables do not require a professional electrician to install like some power cables do. POE also makes it simple to move cameras to the desired or required location with much less hassle than more traditional systems. Adding additional cameras also becomes a simple task with a POE system. Operators simply run Ethernet cable into one side of the EXP-IP-POE-INJ-24V-24W and back out the other. The POE injector receives power from a 10` cord with a choice of explosion proof plugs that runs from the bottom of the enclosure. Please select your desired plug option below when ordering.

Wiring & Plug: This explosion proof POE Injector is equipped with 10 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an explosion proof cord cap for easy connection to explosion proof outlets. Plug options include a 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 220-240V explosion proof outlets. **PLEASE NOTE** voltage ratings on plugs and outlets are MAXIMUM voltage. For low voltage applications, proper voltage must be applied to the outlet or damage to the light fixture will occur.
