The Larson Electronics EXP-MTR-1P-24VDC-1HP-1.8K-56HC Explosion Proof Motor is recommended for use in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups C, D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups E, F, G rated work sites. The 1 HPÂ unit is compatible with 24VÂ DC and offers 9.8 FLA. This Class F insulation rated explosion proof motor features a NEMA 56HC motor frame and can be installed with industrial systems via an integrated mounting foot.
The EXP-MTR-1P-24VDC-1HP-1.8K-56HC is a fractional explosion proof motor for flammable work sites. This thermally protected unit operates with 24VÂ DC. The 1 HPÂ motor offers 9.8 full-load amps and 4.4 amps of no-load current. Capable of generating 1,700 RPM, the unit provides 3 lbs. ft. of torque, with 120% locked rotor torque and 250% break down torque. This motor is totally enclosed and fan-cooled (TEFC).
The IP55-rated explosion proof motor features an ambient temperature rating of 50°C. Equipped with aluminum endshields, this unit is protected by a NEMA 56HC motor frame and features Class F insulation, with 1.0 service factor.
