| The FRL-CFL-E26-10-SB-20W-UVC from Larson Electronics is a UV-C Compact Fluorescent Germicidal Bulb that offers high light output from a compact form factor, making it suitable for disinfecting kill 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and spores and bacteria in large facilities. This 20-watt germicidal twin-tube bulb operates on 120V AC @ 60 Hz and provides UV-C output. The FRL-CFL-E26-10-SB-20W-UVC has an internal ballast and an E26 base for compatibility with standard light sockets. *Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores and bacteria. * The FRL-CFL-E26-10-SB-20W-UVC is a 9.84" long by 0.47" diameter, twin-tube bulb for disinfection in general area lighting systems and commercial indoor spaces. This 20-watt unit provides UV-C output at a UV wavelength of 200nm to 280nm and operates on 120V, 60Hz. Equipped with a standard E26 base, the bulb is compatible with several types of common light sockets. This bulb takes on a twin-tube design and provides a 360-degree, flood beam for complete coverage of the area. The UV-C unit has an internal ballast (no external ballast required). Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
