| The GAU-LI-EMG-TRF-2X4-10L-DCM 2X4 Lay-in Troffer Mount LED Fixture with Emergency Battery Backup offers high light output from a compact form factor, making it suitable for commercial space lighting, such as offices, hallways and schools. This 50-watt LED light operates on 120-277V AC @ 50/60 Hz and provides 6,300 lumens of white light. Suitable for damp locations, the LED troffer fixture supports 0-10V dimming. An emergency backup battery is included that runs for 90 minutes after power is lost. The GAU-LI-EMG-TRF-2X4-10L-DCM is a powerful lighting solution for general area lighting systems and commercial, indoor spaces. The 50-watt lamp runs on common 120-277V AC voltages, which can be found in most mainstream facilities and buildings. During operation, the light emits 6,300 lumens with a color temperature range of 3,000-5,000K and CRI rating of 80+. A 120-degree, flood beam configuration provides wide coverage in the area. The 2x4 ceiling lay-in LED light is a suitable replacement for fluorescent lamps. This unit incorporates cutting-edge SMD 2835 LED modules for robust illumination. The LED driver supports 0-10V dimming via a DC voltage control signal. At 10V, the LED fixture offers full, 100% output. When set at 0V, the light is dimmed at the lowest setting. The 2x4 lay-in LED lamp is constructed of aluminum, resulting in a lightweight and durable fixture. This unit is suitable for indoor and damp locations. We have added a battery backup unit that adds emergency light functionality to this fixture. This emergency battery backup will run one bulb at the standard UL suggested 90 minutes after power is lost at 2,500 lumens. The light recharges the battery once electrical power is restored. Standard configuration includes a single emergency battery backup that is automatically recharged and kept in a ready state. This LED will operate at 20% power when switched into battery backup mode. The battery backup unit includes a switched leg for turning the light fixture on/off without kicking the unit into emergency mode. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Wiring/Mounting: The GAU-LI-EMG-TRF-2X4-10L-DCM provides an opening on the back cover to the driver box for completing wiring connections. This LED fixture is designed for recessed mounting and requires a 2x4 mounting hole to be made in ceilings capable of accommodating the fixture housing in order to provide the maximum amount of space for the luminary.
