The GL-21004-A-F Golight Radioray from Larson Electronics is a 40 Watt LED Motorized Floodlight that operates with a wireless handheld remote control. This particular model is available in white and mounted on a stanchion post with a 360° white anchor light. It produces a wide flood beam via a floodlight lens, which is recommended for illumination in marine locations, such as docks and boating activities.
The GL-21004-A-F Golight Radioray is designed for use in all weather conditions and produces 410,000 candela of intense light output. This 40-watt unit is ideal for boating, law enforcement, emergency services, utilities and anywhere high power and remote control functionality is desired. Equipped with a floodlight lens, these devices feature remote control operation that allows users to rotate the light 370 degrees with a hard stop and to adjust vertical tilt through 135 degrees.
Durability:
The Golight Radioray is designed for boating and demanding outdoor use with a weather resistant housing constructed of high quality injection molded ASA polymer that is heat resistant, impact resistant, UV resistant and able to withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. This particular Golight is white in color, making it ideal for docks and buildings where an attractive appearance is desired. Remote movement of this floodlight is provided by an automotive grade internal motor, gear, and transmission assembly that is constructed of stainless steel to provide rust and corrosion resistance as well as long life and reliable operation.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Remote Operation:
The GL-21004-A-F features a 433 MHz wireless remote control, which caters to 2,000+ address codes with 7 station dip switch. This component is powered by two Duracell MN21 12V batteries. The GL-21004-A-F ships with (1) wireless handheld remote.
Wiring/Power:
The light comes with 12" (1') pigtail with tinned leads for hard wiring into existing 12V DC electrical systems.
On this particular model, the light is mounted on a stanchion mount. Standard perko sockets that are commonly installed on many boats accepts a stanchion post mount. Mounting:
The light is mounted on a stanchion post. A stanchion mount enables the light to be installed and removed for storage. The included anchor are always on when mount is receiving power. The wireless remote control only controls the Golight. The stanchion posts are available in 6, 12, and 24 inches. Please select your preference below.
Anchor Light:
The GL-21004-A-F is equipped with a white 360° anchor light which is visible from all sides. An anchor light is a white light that is required to be visible from all sides between sunset and sunrise when a boat is moored or anchored.
