| The GL-9951-24I from Larson Electronics is a Golight Radioray 36 Watt LED Motorized Spotlight that operates with a hand held wireless remote control. This particular model is available in black and has a removable magnetic mount shoe base. It produces a wide spot beam with an effective working beam of 900 feet long by 70 feet wide. The GL-9951-24I operates on 24 V DC input voltage that is stepped down to 12 V DC via an inline transformer. The GL-9951-24I Golight Radioray is designed for use in all weather conditions and produces 2,500 lumens of intense light output. These units feature remote control operation that allows users to rotate the light 370 degrees with a hard stop and to adjust vertical tilt through 135 degrees. Remote operation is provided by one hand held wireless remote controller that operates over a radio frequency of 433 MHz. This remote includes an internal 12 volt battery rated at 1 year of operation and a single red LED to indicate remote control activity. The remote controller has a range of up to 100 feet and will operate through walls, within structures, and in vehicles. The remote is constructed of polycarbonate with rubber push pad buttons for weatherproof durability and can be user programmed to operate one or several lights simultaneously. Remote Operation: Remote control functions include on/off, and 4 buttons which control up, down, left and right movement. The light will continue movement as long as the buttons are pressed. Releasing the buttons stops movement and holds the Golight in position. A fast and slow mode button (turtle/hare) controls the speed of the motor while the pan and tilt function buttons are depressed. Holding the button for 12 seconds in fast mode results in a full 370 degree rotation, and 8 seconds for full tilt. Slow mode is used for pinpoint accuracy at distance and is approximately 35 seconds for full rotation and 20 seconds for one full range of tilt. Remotes are 3 inches long by 2 inches wide by 3/8 inch thick. Durability: The GL-9951-24I Golight Radioray is designed for hunting and demanding outdoor use with a weather resistant housing constructed of high quality ASA Luran thermoplastic that is heat resistant, impact resistant, UV resistant and able to withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. This particular Golight is black in color, making it ideal for docks and buildings where an attractive appearance is desired. Remote movement of this spotlight is provided by an automotive grade internal motor, gear, and transmission assembly that is constructed of LEXAN, brass, and stainless steel to provide rust and corrosion resistance as well as long life and reliable operation. Mounting: The light slides on and off the base of the light. When the shoe is installed, a spring loaded button pops up locking the light into the base. The shoe base completely encapsulates the suction cup base. When the base is removed, the light can be mounted using the suction cup and the locking lever on the side to activate suction mount. The suction cup mount is released via side mount lever. The suction cup is not suitable for moving vehicles, boats, etc. The magnetic base offers 40 pounds of magnetic grip which is only suitable for temporary use and not recommended for moving vehicles. Power: This light operates with 24 volts DC stepped down to 12 V DC via an inline DC to DC stepdown transformer. The light draws 1.5 amps at 24 V DC, making it ideal for military equipment, boats, offroad vehicles, and similar sources of 24 volt direct current. On this particular model, the light has a 16 foot cord, encapsulated inline transformer, and is terminated in in a cigarette plug. Light Output: The light source in this Golight Radioray is provided by six, six watt LEDs that produce 2,500 lumens of light output. This lamp has a 6000K color temperature, giving it very good color rendering and contrasting properties and the ability to clearly and sharply illuminate objects at long distances. This beam is effective to the far end of its reach, producing enough illumination to read a book at 900 feet.
