Measuring only 7€ tall and 4.25€™ long and weighing less than 45 lbs, this extremely low profile 60 watt LED fixture delivers 7,064 lumens while drawing only 0.50 amps on 120 volts (though it is compatible with all 120-277 VAC 50/60Hz). The HAL-EMG-48-60W-ITG-LED-M-25C-EPP produces both more light output and superior quality light than traditional fluorescent lighting fixtures while at the same time offering substantially reduced energy use and increased reliability, longevity, and safety. Unlike the glass tube design of traditional fluorescent lamps, these LED explosion proof linear lamps have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. The 60 watt LED is protected by a single impact and vibration resistant polycarbonate lens with a diffuse finish to reduce glare, and the LED assembly is housed within a low profile one piece copper-free extruded aluminum body designed to withstand hazardous and harsh conditions. A one wiring access plate makes for easy access to driver lead, and high temperature rated silicone gasketing between the lens and the housing provides NEMA 4X and IP66 sealing. Both the housing and the external screws are constructed to resist moisture, corrosion, ingress of dust and particles as well as being vibration and weather resistant. In addition to the rugged lens and body, the HAL-EMG-48-60W-ITG-LED-M-25C-EPP comes equipped with supplemental 20kA/10kA surge protection and a 90 minute internal emergency battery backup.
The HAL-EMG-48-60W-ITG-LED-M-25C-EPP is designed to be magnetically mounted to flat, ferrous surfaces. The fixture is equipped with two magnets, each with 200lb of gripping force, attached to adjustable legs on the back of the fixture. The adjustable legs provide 120° of adjustment once mounted.
