The HAL-SPK-10X190PNL-SCS-1440AL-24V-N4X Hazardous Location Solar-powered System from Larson Electronics is designed for sustainable energy applications in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. The system features 190-watt solar panels, lithium-ion batteries @ 1440 aH capacity, two MPPT controllers, solar inverter, wiring kits, and panel mounting kits. A Class I, Division 2/NEMA 4 heavy-duty enclosure protects the batteries and charge controllers from outdoor elements. The HAL-SPK-10X190PNL-SCS-1440AL-24V-N4X is a powerful solar-powered system for Class I, Division 2 rated hazardous locations and is designed to power up to 450 watts of equipment for up to 12 hours. This system includes ten 190-watt solar panels, ten surface mounting kits for the solar panels, thirty-six 40aH lithium-ion batteries, two 60-amp charge controllers, 25-foot remote wiring kit and a 0.5 kVA solar inverter that provides 120/240V output. Solar Panels: A total of eighteen, 190-watt solar panels are included with the system. Each 190-watt solar panel operates on 24V (nominal) with a module efficiency rate of 15.2 percent. At maximum power, the unit offers 38V and a current of 5A. Featuring a Class C application class, the module comes with a 20A maximum fuse rating. Each unit measures 62.5" x 31.1" x 2". This solar panel is NRTL certified to IEC and UL. The solar panels are designed to withstand rugged, outdoor environments. The frame is constructed of silver anodized aluminum, while the back cover is made out of white polyester for insulation. For extra protection, the front cover is constructed of high transmission glass (1/8" thick). The hazardous location solar panel comes with a sturdy J-type junction box equipped with 1/2" hub with accessible terminals for connections to other components of the solar-powered system. Four terminal screw connection blocks are available, capable of accepting 8-14 AWG wires. Ten surface mount L-bracket kits are included, which can be used to mount the solar panels to the roof or flat surfaces. Battery Bank/Charge Controller: This system is equipped with thirty-six 40aH lithium-ion batteries, for a 1440 aH battery pack with 100% usable. Inside the enclosure, operators are provided access to two MPPT charge controllers. Capable of operating at 99% peak efficiency, each component features a maximum battery current of 60 amps. The 4-stage charge controllers can handle bulk, absorption, float and equalize charging stages. Protective features include the following: Overload, Short Circuit, High Voltage, High Temperature, Lightning/Transient Surges, Reverse Current @ Night. The controllers are supported by an included remote battery sensor. For connections to the controller, the following communication ports are available: MeterBus, RS-232, EIA-485, Ethernet, EMC-1. The batteries and MPPT charge controllers are housed inside a Class I, Division 2 enclosure. The NEMA 4 enclosure is constructed of aluminum and stainless steel. An included 25-foot remote wiring kit allows operators to mount the solar panels away from the charge controller during installation. Applications: Hazardous locations, chemical processing plants, refineries, oil and gas, solar-powered systems, remote locations, alternative energy, sustainable energy systems, solar lighting, portable power, battery-powered systems, rechargeable lighting and more. |
