' Product Overview '
Made in the USA The HAL-TL-3X10W-C-2XPA from Larson Electronics is a Color LED Stack Light with Dual Signal Horns that is approved for use in Class I Division 2 hazardous environments where explosive and flammable gases, vapors, and dusts stand a potential to exist, as well as wet locations and marine environments. This hazardous location color LED signal stack light is designed for routing traffic in industrial refueling stations and processing status indications in manufacturing facilities. The HAL-TL-3X10W-C-2XPA hazardous location signal stack LED light with dual audible horns is a signal/traffic light that offers 30 Watts of LED light in a configuration of red/amber/green. This light unit is rated for Class I Division 2 and Class II Division 2 work environments, T3 temperature rated, weatherproof/dust-proof, and NEMA 4X and marine rated for wet environments. These indicator lights have 50,000 hours of operational life and the unit works on 120/240 volts AC or 24 volts DC configurations for standard or low voltage operation. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. This hazardous location fixture is configured for red/amber/green output (one lamp each color) and offers exceptional lumen output. The dual hazardous location audible alarm setup sounds a unique tone per lamp color, providing operators in hazardous locations with an effective and powerful alert/signal system that can withstand demanding conditions and be heard over the operation of industrial machinery. An explosion proof junction box protects the internal wiring and can be tapped in order to connect this stack light to power sources. This hazardous location stack light is durable, can operate in any weather condition, and is rated for Class I Division 2 areas where flammable gas and have potential to exist. The LED lamps in this hazardous location stack light consist of 10 Watt colored LED lamps, with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, are protected by durable Pyrex globes and polymer globe guards for added durability, and offer cool operation and clean, bright output surpassing that of 100 Watt incandescent indicator lamps. The LED lamps are colored LEDs instead of colored globes, providing more light output. We offer strobe or steady burn lamps for this fixture. The light housing is constructed of a non-metallic polymer, while the horns are made of fiberglass with aluminum mounting bases. This stack light is equipped with two explosion proof horns. Attached to the bottom of the fixture, these audible horns provide operators with 4 different tones that can reach a peak output of 110dBA, powerful enough to be heard over industrial operations. Each lamp is configured to sound a unique tone when illuminated. There is no dimming or volume control for the lights or horns. Flying leads allow operators to connect this unit to a PLC system for programming. Wiring is through a 3/4" conduit access hub. The unit can be ordered in 120V or 240V AC configuration for use with standard line voltages, or 24 VDC for low voltage use. Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. Power is provided by individual conductors to allow independent operation of each lamp and tone combination. Operators can tap the C1D1 junction box in order to connect to a power source. This 30 watt three lamp explosion proof signal stack LED light with dual horn alarm system is an ideal fixture indicator for manufacturing facilities, routing shipping lanes, and any hazardous work area where status indicators and audible alarms are necessary. Note on Lights: Please note, the color choices and light configuration of this unit can be customized to your requirements. We offer steady burn or strobing LED lamps, as well as high or low voltage configurations. Please contact us for special color configurations.
