The HAL-TPM-2X150LED-LV Pole Mounted Hazardous Work Area LED Light from Larson Electronics produces 29,580 lumens of light capable of illuminating an area 36,000 square feet in size. Weather proof and U.L. listed for marine use, this LED equipped work area light is a versatile and ideal lighting solution for both hazardous and non hazardous locations.
The HAL-TPM-2X150LED-LV is a telescoping pole mounted work area LED light and provides 36,000 square feet of work area coverage with 29,580 lumens of light output. This LED light tower has two removable LED light heads mounted on top of an adjustable steel pole and features with set pins for easy positioning of the unit`s height. The LED light heads on this unit produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas such as tanks and containers and is suitable for hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. This light is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine and petrochemical operations where durability and reliability is critical.
This telescoping LED work light is comprised of two removable LED light heads mounted atop a steel adjustable pole fabricated with 3" diameter for the first stage and 2.5" for the second. Constructed from 1/4" thick tubing, this light tower is powder coated for durability and rust resistance. This adjustable and collapsible tower can be extended to twelve feet in and collapsed to seven feet via the set pin and a series of predrilled set holes. The lamp can independently be adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position.
Included with this LED light tower is 20 feet of SOOW cord terminated in flying leads, which combined with 90 degrees of tilt offered by the LED light heads provide an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights. The easy to collapse design of this LED work light allows Larson Electronics to avoid pallet freight charges when shipping and deliver these units via UPS next day air service, which in turn improves delivery time and reduces the cost to buyers.
The lamp housings on this light tower are weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws for easy servicing and heat/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass. This hazardous location light contains two sets of thirty CREE XLamp XPG five watt LEDs producing 493 lumens each. These LEDs are arranged in rows and paired with high purity optics to produce 14,790 lumens per head and a 60 degree flood beam while only drawing 25 amps on 12V, making these units ideal for use as highly efficient yet powerful work and area lights. The HAL-TPM-2X150LED-LV hazardous location LED light is an ideal replacement for fragile and hot running 400 watt metal halide floodlights.
Each LED light head on this unit measures 15 inches in width, 11 inches in height, and 14 inches in depth which allows it to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points. The LED light heads can be removed from the tripod, the tripod collapsed, and the entire assembly passed through a manhole and reassembled once inside.
The pulse width modulation drivers in this unit also provide secondary benefits through the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These HAL-TPM-2X150LED-LV series light bars can operate on current ranging from 12 to 24VDC without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in vehicle electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it.
