| The HLX-AE.EX-TX-220V.EU-2KVA-2X-110V-KT from Larson Electronics is a Portable Explosion Proof Transformer converts 220 V European electrical current into 110 V AC for use in ATEX/IECEx rated facilities. This 2 kVA unit is equipped with two 110 V AC receptacles and a top-mounted carrying handle for seamless mobility. The HLX-AE.EX-TX-220V.EU-2KVA-2X-110V-KT portable transformer gives operators the ability to power their 110 V AC equipment in ATEX/IECEx rated combustible sites from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 220 V European (L+N) line-in power via a line-in male receptacle (mating connector and mating plug for the line-in male receptacle are included). On the secondary side, two 110 V receptacles are available for 110 V AC equipment (two mating plugs for the 110 V receptacles are included). The receptacles contain weatherproof covers. Operation: A 16-amp 2-pole, 3-wire 220 V line-in male plug brings 220 V Euro (L+N) power to the 2 kVA encapsulated Ex rated transformer, which converts 220 V Euro (L+N) to 110 V AC and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side is equipped with two 16-amp 2-pole, 3-wire 110 V receptacles. Protective Construction: The HLX-AE.EX-TX-220V.EU-2KVA-2X-110V-KT is protected by a heavy-duty flameproof enclosure. An accessible top-mounted handle enables operators to carry the unit around the work site. This weatherproof power distribution unit is IP66 rated and approved for Zone 1/2 and Zone 21/22 locations. Applications: Chemical processing facilities, food processing plants, oil refineries, agricultural sites, grain storage facilities, metal processing and more. |
