This unit offers far-UV 222nm output and comes equipped with a 40-watt excimer lamp. The aluminum UV system is powered by a rechargeable 20aH lithium ion battery pack and features two hooks for secure (hanging) installations on doors. *Please note: This product produces UV light. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores, and bacteria. * The IND-DHM-HDB-FUVC-EX-1L-MS-120V is a powerful sanitation solution for many types of facilities and occupied areas. Equipped with a 40-watt excimer lamp, this rechargeable, battery-operated system offers far-UVC 222nm output. The lights have an expected lifespan of 10,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern. With an extended lamp, this UV system caters to a wide range of sanitation activities via 180 degrees of coverage. A motion sensor delay automatically turns off the unit when movement is detected. When motion is longer detected in the area, the light will turn on again. This sensor is secured on the device at an angled position. This unit is made out of aluminum. A red indicator light at the back of the unit notifies individuals when the lamp is on. This UV germicidal device comes with an on/off switch. Multiple devices can be purchased to cover larger areas quicker. Far-UV 222 nm light is considered to be eye and skin safe for humans, allowing the lamps to be used in occupied areas safely with minimum risk. The 222 nm wavelength does not penetrate the cornea of the eye and cannot impose corneal impairment. Additionally, this UV band is blocked by the top layer of skin (stratum corneum) which protects underlying cells from damage.
