| This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The Larson Electronics IND-SM-4P18-24-4L-MS-WC-120V-6C is a Germicidal UV Sanitation Light which can disinfect 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and spores in large facilities. This budget-friendly unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (254nm) and comes equipped with four, 18-watt UVC fluorescent lamps. A top-located carrying handle and wheeled base allows the UV light to be carried or moved around the facility. For long-term sanitation, we offer an enhanced and more durable version of this unit (see ). *Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores and bacteria. * The IND-SM-4P18-24-4L-MS-WC-120V-6C is a convenient sanitation solution for commercial facilities. Equipped with four T5 UVC fluorescent lamps, this system offers 20 watts of total UV output, within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm). The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern. This UV system caters to large areas with 360 degrees of coverage. Operators may move the light around after exposure time to disinfect several sections. With a recommended 20-25 minute exposure time for viruses, multiple units can be purchased to cover larger areas quicker. This unit is made out of 16-gauge powder coated steel with a white finish. A built-in on/off switch is available at the front of the unit. An included PIR motion sensor provides an extra layer of safety by deactivating the unit upon sensing movement within its line of sight. A compact remote can be used to turn the fixture on and off, as well as set 15-minute and 30-minute runtimes. We offer a heavy-duty version of this UV-C fixture, which is designed for rugged applications (see for more information). This alternative is capable of cleaning 15' x 15' areas during UV treatment. Large push buttons with labels are available on this unit for easy operation with gloves or protective gear. When it comes to lamp protection, this superior alternative features both vertical and horizontal guards (the budget-friendly unit does not have horizontal guards). The fixture also comes with a longer and durable cord (15 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord, compared to 6 feet of 18/3 SJTW cord). Protected by a metal housing, this industrial model does not need to be frequently replaced, as it is suitable for long-term sanitation. Voltage/Wiring: The UV-C sanitation fixture operates on 120V AC when using the included 6' 18/3 SJTW cord with 5-15P cord cap. Two 1/2" NPT knockouts are available for direct wiring to 120/240V AC power sources, which allows the unit to operate on 120/240V AC power. Mount: This UV sanitation light is equipped with a top-located carrying handle, which can be used to transport the unit around the work site. The bottom of the light contains one locking and three non-locking casters for mobility. Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
