The LEDUL12 Underwater LED Light is an extremely efficient and versatile lighting solution for boats, walkways, cabin areas, stairs, vehicles and marine locations. The 60-watt submersible unit provides compatibility with 10-30V DC and 4,000 lumens of light. Constructed of bronze alloy, the IP68 compliant LED light caters to surface or wall mounting applications and is offered in: White - White Cross Fade - White Strobe, Green - Green Cross Fade - Green Strobe, Blue - Blue Cross Fade - Blue Strobe or White/Blue - White - Blue - Cross Fade - Strobe.
The LEDUL12 is a compact underwater LED light for seamless mounting in tight areas with limited space, including boats. This 60-watt LED light operates on low voltage 10-30V DC and provides 4,000 lumens of output. Timed Toggled Protocol (TTP) enables the LED lamp to be controlled without external control boxes or special switches. These LED lights are offered in the following combinations: White - White Cross Fade - White Strobe, Green - Green Cross Fade - Green Strobe, Blue - Blue Cross Fade - Blue Strobe or White/Blue - White - Blue - Cross Fade - Strobe.
Constructed of bronze alloy for durability and corrosion resistance, the units are fully sealed, weatherproof, submersible to 6 feet and IP68 compliant. Negative and positive leads power the LED lamps from a low voltage source.
Measuring only 3.94" in diameter and 0.85†in total thickness, the LED light is very low profile and easy to mount unobtrusively on the hull below the waterline.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Mounting:
Suitable for marine environments, the LEDUL12 can be mounted via
three through holes and screws for securing the light to the hull. A 1/2" base extension in the center of the light containing the wiring connections passes through the hull for secure through surface wiring. In boating applications the operator can drill a 1/2" hole in the hull and insert the base mount, passing the base extension through the hull. The 2-wire installation can then be done inside the hull. The wires or points of ingress around the wire are thus not exposed to the water and protected against chafing or damage from rubbing against the edges of the mounting hole.
We also carry an alternative
underwater LED unit that is submersible to 60 meters you can view here.
Applications:
Boat lights, cabin lights, interior/exterior lighting, marine locations, vessels, docks, control rooms, general area illumination and more.
