' Product Overview '
The LM-12-3S-4X250LTL-30C LED Light Mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy four LED lamps to elevations up to sixteen feet. Producing 129,600 lumens, this LED tower provides operators with a rugged and powerful LED alternative to metal halide lamps that uses little power and can withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. The system comes with 30 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord with a general area cord cap. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The LM-12-3S-4X250LTL-30C telescoping steel light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy four, 240-watt LED lights in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 12 feet for effective light coverage. Light Tower: This light boom can be extended to 12' for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 6.5' for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 5.3' in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, middle section 5.4' in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an upper section 5.9' and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 2' minimum overlap. The mast is elevated by pressing down on the end of base stage, elevating the mast into the upright position. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 1,000 lb hand winch with 3/16" galvanized cable. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 10 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and an upper section 8 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter with 1 foot of overlap. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12 inch square, ½ inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast to allow operators to easily and securely attach the fixtures. This light tower weighs approximately 275 lbs, and when lowered to 10 feet can withstand winds up to 125 mph.
LED Lights: The LED light mast is equipped with four LED lamps that produces 32,400 lumens of high intensity light each while drawing only 240 watts at 2.08 amps from a 120 volt electrical system. Twenty-Four Cree high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered. Mounting: All LED lights are secured to the top of the mast. Each unit is equipped with a back mount trunnion style mounting bracket that allows the light to be adjusted through 160° of vertical movement. To adjust the unit, the user simply loosens the set screws located on either side of the unit, moves it into the desired position, then re-tightens the screws.

Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 10 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet tall and weighs approximately 325 lb. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer's requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-25 is another model that reaches to a length of 25 feet, with a 15 foot lower section and a 10 foot upper section and a 4 foot wide upper mounting bracket. We also offer a choice of either a manual 1,000 lb hand winch included standard or an optional electric winch. Suggested Applications: Lighting and security camera deployment.
