This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The LM-15-5-4S-FM-4X500LTL-LED from Larson Electronics is a Fixed Mount 4-Stage Light Tower that provides operators with 1,920 watts of high-intensity LED lighting power that can be raised to heights up to 15 feet to for areas that require far reaching illumination. The four LED light heads on this unit each produce 60,000 lumens for a total of 240,000 lumens of LED lighting power. The tower itself features dual mounting brackets for easy installation and sturdy mounting performance. This light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. Light Tower: The Larson Electronics LM-15-5-4S-FM-4X500LTL-LED fixed mount 4-stage light mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy 240,000 total lumens of high-intensity LED light to elevations of up to fifteen feet. This light tower collapses down to five feet for easy transportation and features a removable mast head for storing the mounted LED light heads when not in use. This telescoping four stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy 240,000 lumens of lighting power in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 15` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 15` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 5` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 3.35` in length and 5" x 5" by 1/8" thick, lower section 3.45` in length and 4" x 4" by 1/8" thick, an upper section 3.65` in length and 3" x 3" by 1/8" thick, and a top section 4.19` in length and 2" x 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 12" overlap. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 600 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized cable. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15 inch by 13 inch, 1/4 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 1/2 inch anchor bolts. A 36" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 14 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. Light Heads: The LM-15-5-4S-FM-4X500LTL-LED features four of the Larson Electronics LED light heads that feature an IP67 waterproof rating, an 80,000+ hour service life and provide operators with a rugged and powerful LED alternative to 1500 watt metal halide lamps that uses little power and can withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. The GAU-LTL-500W-LED LED light from Larson Electronics produces 60,000 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 480 watts at 5 amps from a 120 volt electrical system. Forty-Eight Cree® high output LEDs producing 1,250 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights.

In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
The above image shows the comparison of the traditional (4) 1500 watt metal halides light fixtures mounted to a 15` light tower (left) to (4) GAU-LTL-500W-LED 500 watt LED light fixtures mounted to a 15` light tower. The area being illuminated by each tower is 300` in length and 250` in width. Unlike the metal halide light fixtures, there are no hot spots with these LED fixtures. This high output LED light fixture provides an even beam spread over the targeted work area without overcast, glare, light spillage, and wasted illumination. Color rendering is also increased with LED light plants, providing a more realistic night vision that more closely resembles natural daylight illumination.
Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-500W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The Cree® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,0000 hours of use.
