Made in Texas The Larson Electronics LM-20-6.5-5S-FM-2X250LTL-NYC Five Stage Fixed Mount LED Light Mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy two, 240-watt LED lights up to 20 feet and retract to 6.5 feet when fully collapsed. Equipped with a 3/4" weatherproof coiled cord, this crank up LED light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation and a removable mast head for storing the mounted LED fixtures when not in use. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping five stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy two high-intensity LED fixtures in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 20` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 20` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 6.5` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. This allows operators to collapse the mast and leave it in the upright position during transit if desired. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 4.54` in length and 6" by 6" by 3/16" thick, lower section 4.73` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 4.92` in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, upper section 5.10` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an top section 5.60` in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has an overlap of at least 12 inches. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 2,500 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable. | ||||

LED Lights: The LED light tower is equipped with two, Larson Electronics GAU-LTL-250W-LED high intensity LED lamps. Each unit produces 32,400 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 240 watts at 2.08 amps from a 120 volt electrical system, for a total of 64,800 lumens at 480 watts. The LED lights each contain twenty-Four CREE® high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each, which are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights.
The LED lights are ideal replacements for fragile and hot running metal halide lamps. They offer low power requirements, high durability and a versatile mounting system that makes these LED light emitters a superior lighting solution for demanding applications where power and reliability is critical. The heavy duty design and high power of these LED lights also makes them suitable for a wide array of applications including but not limited to: high mast lighting, light towers, light plant LED retrofits, military, mining, industrial manufacturing, machine visioning, security and law enforcement, commercial structure illumination, sport complexes, billboards, race tracks, and parking lots to name a few.
Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours.
Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-250W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,0000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered.
Wire Management: The LED light tower includes a weatherproof 3/4" coiled cable that runs the length of the tower to secure wiring during deployment. The wiring wraps around the mast and ends in a top located junction box. This wire management prevents installed cable from getting hung up during deployment operations and reduces chances of damage to the cable.
