Made in the USA The LM-HA-17-8-3S-FM-4XWP60 from Larson Electronics is a 3-Stage Hydraulic Fixed Mount LED Light Tower that allows operators to provide illumination to large areas at elevations of up to seventeen feet. The light tower is equipped with four 60 watt LED light heads that each produce 5,400 lumens of lighting output for a combined total of 21,600 lumens while drawing only 240 watts via 120V AC voltage. The light tower folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom for 360° of rotation and a removeable mast head for storing the mounted LED lights when the tower is not in use. The included LED light heads on this hydraulic light tower equivalent to 500 watt quartz lights, but they are much more reliable. That increased reliability makes the LM-HA-17-8-3S-FM-4XWP60 ideal for applications that have a lot of vibration including vehicle mounted applications like road crews. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping three stage hydraulic steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy 21,600 lumens of high-intensity LED lighting in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 17 feet for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 17 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8 feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a 3/8" square steel base stage 67.5 inches in length and 4 inches in diameter, 1/8" square steel middle stage 68.25 inches in length and 3 inches in diameter, and a 1/8" square steel top stage 75.25 inches in length and 2 inches in diameter. The mast is elevated using hydraulics. The base stage and middle stage are raised via a hydraulic ram. The top stage is then raised via a cable system that is triggered by the action of the hydraulic ram. No manual winch is required at any point of the elevation process which makes operation convenient and easy.

Light Head Information: The LM-HA-17-8-3S-FM-4XWP60 3-Stage LED Hydraulic Light Tower is equipped with four of the Larson Electronics LED high output light heads. The LEDWP-600E LED light head from Larson Electronics produces a long flood beam of light while drawing only 0.5 amps at 120V AC. The light assembly consists of six LEDs paired with high purity specular optics to produce a wide light distribution overpowering that of a 500 watt quartz flood lights. This light is constructed of three angled boards that helps provide a wider spread. Instead of the light only shining forward, the center board is concentrated to go straight out while the boards on the side are 45° offset. The LED light heads on this hydraulic tower are designed to withstand demanding conditions and is waterproof, vapor proof, and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment.

The LEDWP-600E consists of six LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. The housing incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. The LED lamp assembly is protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal. A 1/2" waterproof connector provides a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out this unit`s weather resistant construction. An optional glare shield is shipped with this light. The light heads on the LM-HA-17-8-3S-FM-4XWP60 are securely mounted to the mast head of the tower via stainless steel coated brackets and stainless steel mounting hardware which both provide rust and corrosion resistance. In addition to the 360° rotation provided by the tower itself, the light head mounting assembly provides for 360/180 degrees of rotation and tilt to allow the user to position the unit as desired once mounted and provide more precise lighting adjustment for the operator. This unit is designed to operate with voltages ranging from 110V AC to 277V AC 50/60 Hz or 11-25V AC/DC, providing versatile power connection options. The LM-HA-17-8-3S-FM-4XWP60 provides an efficient and highly durable alternative to standard quartz light towers that produces a longer reaching beam while using only a fraction of the power.

With the LEDWP-600E there is no warm up period, the light can be cycled on and off without any reduction in lamp life, there is no glass or filament to shatter or break, and the solid state LED design provides 50,000 hours of operation. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug. Tower Information: The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15 inch by 13 inch, 1/4 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 3/4 inch anchor bolts. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for mounted light fixtures or equipment.

The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 8 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. This light tower weighs approximately 450 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 10 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1200 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-30-3S is another model that reaches to a length of 30 feet, with a 14 foot lower section, 12 foot middle section, and a 8 foot upper section and a 4 foot wide upper mounting bracket. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
