Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-SMWB-20-2S Stationary 2-Stage skid mounted fold over light mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to thirty feet. This light tower is mounted onto a skid base and folds over for easy transportation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use.  *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The LM-SMWB-20-2S telescoping two stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics’ is designed to quickly and safely deploy user provided lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 20` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to twenty feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to twelve feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 10` in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick and an upper section 11` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1` overlap minimum at all times. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs hand winch.

The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 12 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. A 55 long mounting plate constructed of 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick carbon steel is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for user provided light fixtures and equipment. This light mast is mounted to a 16.67` skid base with four side skid pockets to allow for fork lifts and skid steers to transport this unit from all four sides of the unit. A support arm at the end of the skid supports the mast in the collapsed position. The weighted base allows this mast to be deployed without permanently mounting the mast, and includes four corner 1/2" OD anchor holes to anchor the unit down for long term deployment. 4-corner pick eyes allow this unit to be transported via crane lift or air transport in remote locations. A 24" tall mast head storage post at the end of the skid allows for operators to remove the mast head and securely attach it to the skid during transportation and storage. The storage post provides clearance for customer equipped light heads after installation. This light tower weighs approximately 650 lbs, can easily support and lift 250 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.67 feet long, 4 feet wide, 4 feet tall and weighs approximately 650 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches. Suggested Applications: With its easy deployment the LM-SMWB-20-2S is ideal for use in applications that require regular intensive cleaning and are exposed to a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, where abusive working conditions are encountered, temporary lighting, and construction sites.
