| Made in Texas The MPD-CM5-309.30A-DT7.5DE-ZB-1.E06-M1 from Larson Electronics is a Portable Power Distribution Spiderbox that is designed for powering refeer containers at docks during transportation or handling. This weatherproof unit converts three-phase 208 V Wye electrical current to three-phase 480 V Delta. A powder coated steel cart with stainless steel hardware provides mobility and seamless deployment in rugged environments. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MPD-CM5-309.30A-DT7.5DE-ZB-1.E06-M1 portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 480 volt equipment during refeer handling. This activity involves temperature-sensitive products or goods, which are stored in portable refrigerator containers during transportation. Delivering consistent power to the containers to keep the products preserved during the process is an essential part of the operation. On the primary side, operators connect 208 volt Wye line-in power using a 25' #10/4 AWG Type SOOW cord with a 430P9W IEC 60309 pin/sleeve cord cap. On the secondary side, operators are provided access to one 432R32W IEC 60309 receptacle for 480 V Delta equipment. The receptacle has a hinged watertight cover protecting the face from rain, water and moisture when not in use. This weatherproof power distribution unit features overload protection. In the instance of circuit overload, the unit automatically trips the circuit breaker to protect the unit from damage, and operators manually reset the breaker. Operation: A 25' #10/4 AWG Type SOOW cord with a 30-amp 430P9W 208 V plug brings three-phase 208 V Wye power to the primary side of the system and passes power through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 7.5 kVA auto transformer converts three-phase 208 V Wye to 480 V Delta and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer is equipped with a NEMA 3R 30-amp, three-phase 480 V main lug only panel. This secondary panel contains one 15-amp 3-pole 480 V main circuit breaker protecting one 480 V 432R3W receptacle. Protective Construction: The housing on the MPD-CM5-309.30A-DT7.5DE-ZB-1.E06-M1 is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating (we offer stainless steel enclosures at an additional cost). The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this unit does not tip over when deployed in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The assembly is mounted atop four swivel polyurethane casters, two standard swivel and two locking swivel, aiding in transportation within the job site. A top located adjustable push handle allows operators to guide this unit through the workspace. Certification: All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and NRTL certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; refeer containers, transportation, refrigerator containers, industrial sites, docks, commercial areas and more.
