| The Larson Electronics PLM-18-TLR-X1 Pneumatic Light Mast with trailer provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to eighteen feet. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This rugged telescoping pneumatic light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 20 feet for effective application. This light boom can be extended to 20 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8 feet to bring equipment closer to the target area as well as for transport and storage. The tower is constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for strength and durability. This tower is comprised of three 6.7` sections, and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of lights or cameras. The mast is elevated using an included 1/3 horsepower 250 watt air compressor. An air release valve located at the base of this pneumatic mast allows operators to lower the tower. All wiring is internally routedl, meaning no loose wiring when the tower is collapsed and no exposed wiring to fray or become damaged. The PML-18 includes a six-wire internal wiring harness with 12 inches extending from both ends of the tower to allow easy installation and connection. | |||||

| Powder coated steel enclosure: This houses the battery, air compressor, charge controller, inverter, the tower base. The solar generator enclosure is integrated into the trailer and includes removable axle, removable tongue and leveling jacks. Aluminum 18’ telescopic pneumatic mast: This mast is rated from -55C to 125C temperatures and a switch inside the enclosure enables the operator to raise to raise the mast, while a lever style release valve lowers the mast. The pressure switch in the base of the mast will trigger the compressor if additional air is needed to keep the mast at height. The mast has a load capacity of 150 pounds and wind loading is projected at 165 mph. Cabling for lighting or communication is encapsulated within the mast. Air compressor: Industrial grade 250 watt 220 Volt AC 50/60hz, 1/3 horsepower air compressor provides pressure for elevating the light tower, eliminating tedious hand cranking and slow operating winches. Suspension-Towing: Rubber torsion axle is easily mounted or removed by one person for towing the unit at speeds up to 70 mph. Removing the axle after installation safe guards the unit from theft. A six foot steel trailer hitch tow bar allows for easy movement by hand when not in tow and can be removed after setup for increased theft control. Leveling: Four 1200 lbs hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling the unit up to a 37 degree slope. The unit weighs approximately 1060 lbs and is supported by 4800 lbs. of jack lift power. Jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. The feet of the jacks also can be used for quick bolts for mounting into hard rock or concrete. |
