' Product Overview '
The SHBM-LED-27R from Larson Electronics is an LED floodlight with a bar clamp and pivot mount for convenient mounting and positioning options while in use. This LED bar clamp swivel mount floodlight produces 2,160 lumens and operates on 10-32V DC voltage. Protected by a weatherproof aluminum housing and polycarbonate lens, the SHBM-LED-27R features a flood beam configuration for wide-area lighting. The SHBM-LED-27R is a versatile and durable solution for a wide variety of different lighting needs and applications. The robustly constructed bar clamp pivot mount keeps the floodlight firmly mounted even when driving or moving over rough terrain. The superior lighting power of this LED floodlight provides ample illumination in the darkest of locations. Light Information: The SHBM-LED-27R produces 2,160 lumens of bright light while drawing only 27 watts @ 2.2 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. Nine high output three watt LEDs producing 240 lumens each are arranged in a circle and paired with high purity optics to produce a wide 30 degree flood beam. These LED lights are IP67 waterproof, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, this unit is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These lights can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three meters and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded die-cast aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. We recommend these LED lights for high humidity climates, very cold areas and rough saltwater conditions. They are also applicable to environments where equipment is used in one temperature extreme and stored in another temperature extreme.

Wiring: Each light comes with a detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug. The cord is detached via a weatherproof, 2 pin Deutsch connector which easily and securely attaches and detaches the coil cord from the floodlight. Other cords, including 21 foot cords with ring terminals (C-21RT), 16 foot cord with spring battery clamps (alligator clips) (C-16BC) and a 16 foot straight cord with cigarette plug (C-16CP) are available. This light operates on 10-32V DC, including 12 volt or 24 volt DC, allowing it to be used with any vehicle or ATV equipped with a cigarette plug. Choose voltage below when ordering. Mounting: The SHBM-LED-27R features a durable and rugged bar clamp for attaching the unit to various tubes, pipes, rails and bars. The bar clamp is constructed from strong and lightweight aluminum. Small machine screws secure the bottom half of the clamp to the top portion. The installer simply affixes the light to the top portion and places the assembly on the rail or bar. The bottom portion is positioned and secure with the machine screws, cinching the clamp tightly to the bar. An additional set screw at the very bottom of the mount adds additional security for bars that are slightly off size (metric outer diameters). The bar clamp of the SHBM-LED-27R is attached to a versatile pivot mount that can be adjusted for angle and direction via an attached directional handle and wing bolt. The pivot mount makes the LED floodlight useful as a vehicle mounted searchlight. The pivot mount also includes a built-in level to ensure ideal mounting positioning during installation. Suggested Applications: The aluminum bar clamp mount on the SHBM-LED-27R is ideal for mounting the LED floodlight to boat rails, ATV rails, roof racks, conduit or other round tube stock applications. This LED floodlight is ideal for law enforcement, search and rescue and security operations as well as hunting, fishing, boating, offroading and any other applications that require a durable and powerful vehicle mounted floodlight.
