This constant-torque unit features three-phase 480V AC input/output voltage comparability. Designed for steady speed error, fast torque rise and protection from resonance vibrations, the device provides an output current of 17 amps and an operating (output) frequency range of 0 to 400 Hz with 10 horsepower. The system is equipped with an explosion proof pendant remote control that is hardwired to the VFD. This remote control can be used in combustible sites (the VFD does not have explosion proof protection and must only be used in general/non-combustible locations). The VFD-3P-480-10HP-17A-DCM-ER-10C-EXP-CS-R1 offers accurate AC motor control in industrial facilities. This 7.5kW unit is compatible with three-phase nominal 480V AC input/output voltage, provides an output current of 17 amps and an operating frequency range of 0 to 400 Hz. This device supports forward/reverse input commands and 8-channel programmable switch inputs, as well as programmable open collector output, relay output and analog outputs. The device also features the following control functions: modulation mode, control mode, frequency precision, frequency resolution, start frequency, torque boost, adjustable V/F and Acc./Dec. curve, DC breaking, etc. Explosion Proof Remote Control: This system comes with an explosion proof remote control pendant that is hardwired to the non-explosion proof VFD unit. The remote control features explosion proof protection and the control device can be used in combustible areas (the VFD does not have explosion proof protection and must be installed in a non-combustible location). Operators may access the following controls on the remote: emergency stop mushroom switch, start push button, forward/reverse switch, jog/run switch and 0-100 speed control dial. The explosion proof remote is connected to the VFD via a 10-foot cord. The VFD-3P-480-10HP-17A-DCM-ER-10C-EXP-CS-R1 is designed for indoor applications and operating temperatures ranging between –10°C to +40°C.
