This work light consists of two 300 Watt LED lamps mounted on a portable wheeled steel tower. This temporary LED work tower is weatherproof and able to withstand extreme outdoor weather conditions, making it an ideal lighting solution for illuminating shipyards, construction and manufacturing sites, and other outdoor environments. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

The WAL-2X300MCE-LED is a portable work tower built for demanding outdoor conditions requiring wide flood LED light illumination. This adjustable light fixture features two low profile LED lamps housed in an aluminum body and protected by a polycarbonate lens. This light tower`s LED lamps are adjustable and feature 360° rotation, 160° tilt, and are offered in a 25° spot beam or 60° flood beam, providing a full range of illuminating positions for outdoor lighting. The LED lights in this light fixture feature heat management and pulse width modulation drivers, components that allow them to control their heat output and therefore avoid early atrophy. The heat management driver senses a lamp`s internal temperature and adjusts that heat in order to control heat buildup. This system in essence flashes current at such a rate that it can control the current flowing to each LED and the subsequent generated heat. This heat management allows LEDs to produce more light with less heat, when compared to other light sources, with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours. The pulse width modulation drivers in this unit also provide secondary benefits through the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These LED lights can operate on current ranging from 120 to 277V AC without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in vehicle electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it. This 300 Watt area work light unit includes 50 feet of SOOW cord ending in a weatherproof plug and can be operated on voltages ranging from 120-277V AC. The cart portion of this portable work tower is fabricated from aluminum with stainless steel fasteners and features two caster wheels for easy transportation. The cart and the lamp assembly fixtures are attached to the mounting bar with adjustable trunnion brackets which allow for adjusting the lamp stem both vertically and horizontally through a full range of positions.
