' Product Overview '
Made in the USA The Larson Electronics WAL-TJL-250W-LED-CPR Temporary Work Area Lighting LED Light is a single 100-watt temporary job site fixture that replaces 250-watt metal halide and high-pressure sodium lamps. It features high voltage surge protection, a durable stainless-steel cage and hook and produces a total of 12,000 lumens of quality illumination, ideal for any construction or work area in need of an overhead temporary light source. The WAL-TJL-250W-LED-CPR work area light is a direct replacement for 250 watt metal halide and pressure sodium units, and consists of one LED lamp that is connected to power via 3 meters of SJT 18AWG cable. This light is equipped with a high output 100 watt LED bulb, making it suitable for standard voltage and low voltage applications. The LED is enclosed in a bird cage style guard with a hook, both constructed of durable stainless steel. This temporary LED light is UL cUL DLC4.0 listed and IP65 rated waterproof and dust proof. This unit operates on standard 100-277VAC @ 50-60Hz, for easy power source connection. This LED worksite lamp produces 12,000 lumens with color temperature ranging from 2700-6500K and an average beam angle of 276.9º. The lamp housing is constructed from light weight stainless steel, and an IP65 waterproof and dustproof rating that keeps the lamp safe from moisture and dust, common contaminants at construction sites. This stainless-steel enclosure will not fade, rust or distort, making this fixture very resistant to impact and other environmental factors. The lamp includes a stainless steel hook used to hang the unit securely in overhead locations for effective worksite flood illumination. The WAL-TJL-250W-LED-CPR LED light bulb provides an additional safety measures and time savings, given the low heat production, excellent 50,000 hour rated lifespan and 80 CRI. Since the LED bulb uses solid state technology, vibration and potential falls or intentional vandalism will not break the bulbs, unlike traditional bulbs. Additionally, this construction site lamp features a special 6000V surge protector, which keeps the lamp safe even in harsh stormy weather. A glue-irrigating internal driver is included, which realized even heat dissipation, making this lamp suitable for worksites that may experience heat buildup. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid-state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. Safety within the workplace is another benefit of LED work lights and temporary lighting. All light sources produce heat. With traditional work lamps, such as incandescent and halogen light sources, the lamp reaches high surface temperatures. These surface temperatures introduce a burn risk to anyone to anyone that allows prolonged skin contact with the light source, as well as a fire hazard if a flammable material is accidentally set too close to the light source for an extended period of time. While LED fixtures do still produce heat, they are designed with heat sinks to properly disperse the heat. Each LED bulb is engineered to disperse and expel this heat quickly and efficiently, keeping the lamp cooler than traditional light sources. This LED work light operates at a lower surface temperature than a comparable model with traditional light source, and thus does not present a significant burn risk if an operator or bystander accidentally brushed up against an exposed lamp, and reduce the fire hazard should they fixture accidentally come in contact with a flammable material for a short period of time. This significantly increases the safety within the work environment.
