| The WALTP-Q500 500 Watt Quartz light tower extends from 3.5` to 10` and provides high intensity output and telescoping tripod tower versatility for operators looking for an economical yet effective alternative to quartz halogen tripods. The light head on this extendable tripod tower produces a bright flood illumination from the 500 watt quartz lamp. This tower can be easily collapsed for storage or transportation, and easily deployed The WALTP-Q500 Quartz light tower from Larson Electronics produces a wide flood beam of light while drawing only 500 watts @ 4.2 amps on a 120 volt AC power source. The light assembly consists of one adjustable quartz halogen work light with specular reflectors behind a glass lens, and mounted to a single light fixture bracket. The WALTP-Q500 portable tripod consists of a quartz light head mounted atop a telescoping tripod tower. The light head contains 500 watt quartz halogen lamp housed within a waterproof housing that is coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. The lamp assembly is protected by a glass lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal. A 1/2" waterproof connector provide a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out the fixture`s weather resistant construction.
The heavy duty aluminum tripod is durable, lightweight and adjustable to any length between 3.5` and 10`. The tripod legs collapse and the light head bracket is removable for simple portability and deployment. The heavy duty construction of this tripod and the light weight of the light heads help to make this a very stable unit, even in windy conditions.
The lamp is equipped with a 15 amp male cord cap connected via 6" of SOOW cable. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps.
