A 6` Hytrel handset cord with 250 lbs pull-strength capacity ensures comprehensive reliability during emergency situations. The WPPH-NM-VOIP-10K-227 is designed to provide safe, reliable communication for both indoor and outdoor environments. The SIP-compatible device can be connected to a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet SIP network for operation either using PoE or an external power supply of 24-48V DC. Operators may use the telephone for real-time alarm reporting for monitoring activities around the site. For configuring the settings of the unit, embedded web pages are accessible via standard web browsing applications. Monitoring a group of telephones is also possible using TMA software. The industrial communication device features a braille metallic keypad with hearing aid compatibility for individuals with visual or auditory disabilities. For use in loud environments, operators may adjust the volume of the handset. Clarity on the other end of the line is achieved via the noise-canceling microphone inside the unit. Durability: This unit is housed in a non-metallic, glass-reinforced polyester NEMA 3R enclosure. The weatherproof phone features a heavy-duty 6` Hytrel handset cord with a pull-strength capacity of 250 lbs. This component can retain its threshold in extreme temperatures and harsh environments. Alternatively, operators may use PoE operation (802.3af compliant) to power the device without an isolated, external power supply. This cost-effective option relies on a single component for power and voice/data operation. During installation, a 1/2" conduit entry located at the bottom of the device is available for completing wiring and line connections. To prevent the ingress of moisture, it is advisable to seal conduit entries using a silicone sealant (or equivalent).
