The XLE-MD-TM-IR-R1 from Larson Electronics is a Medical Grade Infrared No-Touch Thermometer is recommended for body temperature readings and monitoring. This unit does not require any contact with skin when taking readings, is rated IP20, and is powered by two AAA batteries (not included).
The XLE-MD-TM-IR-R1 takes temperature measurements without needing to come in direct contact with the surface, object, or individual. This infrared thermometer features two different modes of operation: body mode and object mode. This device offers both Celsius and Fahrenheit readings within a range of 89.6°F - 109.4°F (32°C to 43°C) in body mode and within a range of 32°F - 212°F (0°C to 100°C) in object mode. A measuring distance of 0.39" to 3.93" (1 to 10 cm) is recommended for optimum temperature accuracy in object mode. A measuring distance of 1.18" to 1.96" (3cm to 5cm) is recommended for optimum temperature accuracy in body mode. The XLE-MD-TM-IR-R1 requires one second to conduct a temperature reading. Rated IP20, the infrared thermometer is powered by two AAA batteries (not included).
